For those of you that got into a top 20 MSTP- list your gpa, mcat, publications (if any), acceptances, and interviews.
I'm going to apply in a few years and want to know where I stand.
Thanks!🙂

As the MSTP community is relatively small, most people don't like to post that kind of info (GPA, MCAT). Aim for 3.8+ and 34+ and you will fall right in line with the average top 20 MSTPs. Not to say you can't get in with less, there is certainly more to admissions than just scores (RESEARCH)! but with numbers like that you will greatly improve your chances.

I agree with what Angeliqua said. This question has been asked many times in the past, and that response is the common one.

I just want to add that many here will volunteer this information in private, including myself. If anyone really wants to know, they may PM me or e-mail me ([email protected]). Otherwise, Angeliqua is right on.

updated Information about the Tri-Institutional [Cornell/Rockfeller/SKI] MSTP is up now : http://www.med.cornell.edu/mdphd/student.html

Average GPA is 3.81 and Average MCAT is 36.2 over the past 5 years.

feel free to contact students in the directory abotu the program - you'll find that they are unanimously happy with it; it's amazingly supportive and organized

so far it has been incredible - the proximity of the institutions, couldn't be located in a more fun place to live and awesome classmates. if you come to the interview, we'll show you how to live it up nyc style 🙂

good luck
