Carleton! Macalester! St. Olaf!

Sorry I have not included everyone here. It's only a start. Maybe others would like to add to the list...

Point being, Chicago is not the only city in the midwest.

Yay, Carleton! Go Knights!

Seriously, though, I don't think they believe in small, liberal arts colleges.

Hey, don't forget St. Thomas

The academics may be mediocre but the school is big!
😀

So THAT'S our mascot! 😎 Somebody did mention that to me about a year after I graduated, now that I think about it...

Now that's why we love St. Thomas. Not to mention the awesome underground parking!

I think it is time to broaden the list. Please add your school, people!

Are you saying those aren't some top schools? I'm sure the Knights would beg to differ.

(Besides, in Minnesota, all the schools are above average.)

no no! i'm sure they're great institutions -- but in response to the thread title, that other thread was just referring to top midwest undergrads (a la us news) that seem not to be feeders to the top tier

😳

I think you are imagining things.

I'm going to represent Michigan's two best private colleges-- Albion and Kalamazoo. Woo hoo!
