The question (from test 3, biology, question #7)asks: The maximum ATP yield from the oxidation of one molecule of glucose to six molecules of carbon dioxide is.
a.2
b.4
c.32
d.34
e.36
with the answer on topscore being E. 36.
the question doesnt mention anything about it being in Eukaryotes though. In prokaryotes the max is 38 ATP. Is there something with the production of 6 molecules of carbon dioxide that points to eukaryotic cellular respiraton?
If not then shouldn't the max be 38?
