What topics do you think are not covered very well in FA and warrant finding another review book?

Thanks

PATH!!! haha...I'm using RR for path. I feel like FA path doesn't cover as much as we need to know. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Do you mean general path (inflammation, etc.) or all pathology including systems. I think the general path seems lacking, but think pathology of the individual systems is pretty well done.

so far i've only done neuro, but path for neuro is atrocious in first aid.. you DEFINITELY need Goljan for path at least. I also hear biochem is terrible.

I meant all of path. The systems pathology is ok for the mnemonics, but if you want to fully understand path then RR Path is the way to go.

The biggest fault is its lack of physiology and pathophysiology. It also could use some help on genetics. I think the biochem section is about as it good as it gets for Step 1 review (unfortunately).

I'd say most other things are fairly well done if you like the First Aid style of review (facts and tables without any context).

is there any other way???????:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Neurology/Neuroanatomy wasn't very clear in FA and I thought HY Neuroanatomy was an excellent supplementary source. HY Behavioral Science is another good supplementary source b/c the correct answers in the scenarios aren't always intuitive and it's good to get as much exposure as possible for this subject.
