I am starting my DAT mastering and already purchased Cliff's Bio, KBB, Chad's , Destroyer and CDP. I was looking into TopScore and Achiever to supplement the other materials. I read on SDN that Achiever was not compatable with mac, is this true? Would TopScore be enough with the other materials I have purchased? Hopefully topscore is mac friendly 🙂. Thanks in advance!

I think you've got it flipped - Achiever is totally mac compatible, Topscore is not. I used Achiever and I felt it was an essential component of my practice material - it helped me build up my stamina for test day and allowed me to work on my timing in each section. I was scoring ~18 AA on achiever and got a 22 AA on the real thing.

If you use all that you have, plus and Achiever, you should be fine. You have everything you need. Good luck.

You can still use TopScore on your Mac if you have a Windows partition installed with Boot Camp or if you are running a virtual machine via Parallels, VMWare Fusion, or VirtualBox. You would need a Windows install disc (or bootable drive) for all of these methods. Achiever works fine on Mac.

And as Dotoday said, you should be fine with everything else you have. GL!

Saw a poll in this forum, I believe from last year, that says your real DAT is usually about 4 pts higher than Achiever. Is that still true? I ask because I'm scoring 18 TS, 18 AA, 18 PAT on my Achiever and a few days from my exam. Is that cause for concern?

for me, AA and TS were 3 points higher and PAT was 1 point higher

Definitely not, man, you're looking good - I never scored above an 18AA. I was averaged ~20 on the PAT and got a 25 on the real deal.

I would revive your confidence with a little 2007/2009 ADA action, then go into the test with positivity.

What materials do you recommend using for reading comp section? I feel like I have the correct materials for the other sections but I do not see a lot posted about RC.
