There are 3 yellow roses, 2 pink rose, and 5 red roses. How many arrangement of three flowers are possible?

sin (3x-26) = cos (5x-60) (in degrees)
What is x?

Thank you for your help.

For the second question, I just plug in the answer choices and the answer should match the trig identity: sin (90-x)=cos x

hope this helps

another question:

a software manufacturer can complete 5000 orders in 5 day, another man. can complete the same order in 4 days. How many days will it take to complete your order if you use both software manufacturers at the same time?

the answer is 3.

my calculations: 5000/5= 1000 per day 5000/4 = 1250 per day
5000/2250 is not 3 i noticed the question does not imply that your order is 5000 but still I cant see 3days being correct. I assume if you round up then it right but thats BS. please help

Let see If I get this one right.
I doesn't matter how many orders are there but it matters how many days it takes each one to complete. If they both work together then equation I believe is

(1/T1) + (1/T2) = (1/T)

so 1/4 + 1/5 = 1/T, that simplifies to 20/9 which is about 2.2. what are the other choices. were they like 2, 3, 4, 5, like that or with decimals like 2.5, 2.7, 3. I think becasue it takes more than two days so if you have answers in whole days then 3 would be right answer becasue it won't be complete in two days. You are right. It's total BS. If anyone else knows another way of doing it please post.

and another question: points
A (3,-6)
B (1,1)
C (7,6) make a 2D triangle whats the area. I feel like i learned this in the 5th grade or something. please help

i know dist(ab) sqrt {(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}
and 1/2BH = area of a triangle but still

ok i just took all three topscores I have a few questions:

1) (t^2+2t+4)/(t+1) = (t+4) + 3/(t+1)?

2) sin(3x-26)deg=cos(5x-60)deg x=22?
or
sin(3x-26)deg=1/cos(5x-60)deg x=17??

3) chord length of 4 is 6 units from the center of a circle, find the radius =2sqrt10??

4)2x^(1/3) x=27/8?

5)the roots of the equation x^2-6x-2=0 3+/-sqrt(11)

For the question of area triangle, the easiest way is to find the area of the rectangle that contains the triangle with all three of its vertices on the borders of the rectangle. Then subtract the areas of surrounding triangles, by using A= 1/2 Bh.

For 2X^ (1/3) = 3, you can solve x by taking both side to the 3rd power. Then the equation becomes 8x= 27, x= 27/8.

For the question with chord length =4, draw a perpendicular segment from the center of the circle to the cord. This segment should bisect the cord, and is 6 units away from the center. Then r^2 = 2^2 +6^2, solve for r.

Hope this helps.

so a chord is any line that goes across a circle right... so just make a right triangle and get the hypoth that goes thru the center ... you get the radius... booyah...thanks L
