topscore vs achiever

ok, so my advice would be to take achiever first.... BUT, be prepared to have ur ass handed to u on most of the sections! lol this is totally normal (especially on PAT)... u shouldnt use achiever as a barometer of how well u will do on the DAT, but rather as a supplementary (and very important) study guide- in other words, go through each question and understand why the right answer is right and why the wrong answers are wrong.... do this for all 3 tests.... then when u have a firm grasp on that, u should use Top Score- I guarantee u that u will kick ass on Top Score (which is a more accurate simulation of the difficulty of the real DAT) after having gone through achiever 🙂 I actually scored significantly higher on just about every section on the real thing than I did on Top Score... hope this helps... 🙂

Just in case ur curious, these were my scores (I took the DAT yesterday, 11/14)

Bio:22 (got in the mid teens on Achiever)
GC: 23 (mid-to-high teens on Achiever)
OC: 24 (high teens on Achiever)
TS: 23
QR: 18 (high teens on achiever)
RC: 23 (20 on Achiever)
AA: 22
PAT: 18 (81.9%) (keep in mind that I was getting 14's on the Achiever test! I scored a 19 on Top Score's PAT)

Good luck, if u have any more questions, feel free to ask 🙂

What was your technique used to understand the aperture and orthographic projections that have you find the top, front, and end view? I have DAT Ahiever and it is still hard to get this section. Thanks in advance.
