Alright guys, my jury is out:

The MAX time is 147h 40 min.

And by foundational concept:
1) 20h
2) 7h 10min
3) 24h
4)39h 20min
5) 29h 15min
6-10) 27h 20min

*I say max because some of the videos are repeated under different categories.

So far I am ~60 hours in (only including my video watching time, not question/passage practice).

Here is what I have completed of the Khan MCAT videos:

Cell section complete
Biomolecules 87% complete
Organ Systems 50% complete
Neither the physical processes or chemical processes sections started
Processing the Environment 50% complete
All of the behavioral/social science sections complete (Behavior, Individuals & Society, Society & Culture and Social Inequality)

I still have a lot to do but overall happy with my progress! I think I can complete the videos by my test date of May 22, but it will be a push. The sections differ in the length of videos and while the behavioral videos are around 4-5 minutes each, the Biochem videos in the Biomolecules section are more consistently 10 minutes and up. Frankly I wish they were broken up into shorter videos for easier mental digestion, but I think they have been a great resource.

I watch them on 1.5x or 2x speed, depending on how fast the instructor speaks. It saves a lot of time, particularly on topics with which you are already familiar.

I have to watch Sal"s videos on 2X speed because I can't stand the way he repeats himself 4 times while he is drawing or writing something unnecessary. That guy drives me nuts. Before the update to the site where you could adjust speed I would literally just skip the videos he does. Rant over lol. I think these videos are exceptional. I really appreciate that they are free and they are really great at explaining the concepts.

I agree. the videos as a whole are great, but Sal's videos make me pull my hair out

Let's just say videos aren't the fastest way to do content review. I did a week of videos and only got halfway through the social sciences section. I covered the same amount of topics in a day reading prep books... They're more useful for clarifying some concepts or making sense of disconnected information. They did a good job clarifying words before thought vs thought before words theories for instance.

Alright, so I decided to do my content review exclusively from Khan. It's fun, interactive, and very much mirrors the way my professors taught. Plus I am an auditory learner and not a reader 😛

I am not sure how I will integrate practice passages from other sources, but I will think of something.

New study tools for the new test 😉

Awesome information i was looking for this!
It seems like SO many hours but it doesn't feel daunting/harassment because videos are just more fun to go through 🙂. Will be splitting them up into ~3 hours a day along with Kaplan books for content review. I wish Kaplan books came with passages.
