I did my prereqs at a community college but I stayed for 2.5 years and now my goal is to matriculate within 1.5 years all while doing research, volunteering, shadowing, working, etc.
I have two possible scenarios and I would like some advice:
Option A
Spring 2013
Fall 2014
Spring 2014
Option B
Spring 2013
Fall 2014
Spring 2014
Option A gives me an easier course load; I've heard Biochem I/II are very memorization heavy and Biochem I will serve as a great review of organic for MCAT. It will also allow me to establish a relationship with the director of the Biochem/Pre Med program at my Uni and possibly do research in the summer. However the problem is that it leaves a gap semester between Biochem I and II.
Option B is more difficult but I've been told PChem and AChem are very math/practice based. It also allows for a smooth transition between Biochem I and II. However, I imagine I'll be interviewing at this time so that is a difficult.
It seems Option A is the better choice. Any thoughts?
