Just curious what you guys think about touring dental schools...do you think its worthwhile even if its just a 20 min tour? What do you usually wear to tours/informal meetings. shirt/khakis? would i tie be a little too much?
and what kind of questions should I ask, should i do research on the basics of the school beforehand?

Thanks for the help 😛

Well my experience with a tour is slightly different, I knew a dental student and he was on some rotation that day which didn't require him to always be at his chair. He took me on a personal tour of all the school, introduced me to some faculty etc. Even though I've known this guy for 10+ yrs, I still dressed in khaki's and dress shirt, no tie. I would recommend business casual, like a nice shirt and khaki's, I don't think you need a tie. Knowing a bit about the school is helpful, but thats what a tour is for; to ask questions about the school and show them your interest. Good luck and have fun!
