Touring school before interview day?

I'm flying out tomorrow morning for my interview on Friday. I'm staying at a hotel on campus and will be taking a cab from the airport, so I'll be limited to staying on campus. I plan to give myself a self tour around the campus and was wondering if I would be able to actually walk into the school and look around? How tight is campus security? I'm hoping to go to a gym somewhere too, but I probably need a student ID card for that, but I'm going to try anyhow..

You should be able to get a visitor ID card so you will be ableto get ino most buildings in the campus anyways.

Where do I need to go in order to get the visitor pass. Is it issued at the campus hotel? I guess I'll have to ask once I get there

I got a visitors pass for both UoP and UCSF when I went to on a San Francisco vacation a couple weeks back.

Assuming you're talking about Michigan, I've heard people there are very nice so you shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks! I guess I'll look for the campus visitor center somewhere and ask for a pass. I'm going to be arriving very early tomorrow and don't just want to lounge around the hotel. Hopefully, I'll have full access to all the buildings.
