Does anyone know the status on Touro Dental School...? On the AADSAS application, it says to check back in Oct. for the designation to be live. Its still not live, and I was wondering if anyone knows when we should expect to be...

It's just a running joke on SDN. I don't really remember how it started. The school will likely be fine- people just get upset that more for-profit schools or those that are partners with osteopathic med schools are opening. The theory is that if more schools open, you're admitting more people that are less qualified, which isn't good for the profession. They haven't been accredited yet, so it remains to be seen if they open. It's not "freaking anyone out" though!

That's how life is in Manhattan. They are paying more rent on that building every month than you guys will ever spend in one year. You can buy a huge mansion outside of NYC for the price of a house in NYC. #RespectTouro
