Hello Everyone!

I was recently accepted to Touro colleges DPT program (bayshore campus) and was looking to get more information about the program. If anyone is currently in the program (either manhattan or bayshore) or if you were also accepted comment on this thread!

Same—torn between one other school too. If y’all choose Touro will you live “close” or commute? Do you think we’ll be able to be close as a class if everyone’s commuting from different places?? I’m from the south and this whole NYC thing is a little intimidating!

I’ll try to live close to campus also. Coming from California, never lived alone especially in a city. Agree with the intimidation of NYC. And I’m sure the cohort will be close regardless due to smaller class sizes.

I'll be living in NYC with my mom, but I know a lot of people commute to Touro and its nice because it's literally right behind Penn Station. I've talked to current students there now and they say they study together a lot and try and go out on most Thursdays for happy hour.

Hey! I just submitted my supplemental application to the school and I was wondering how long after they got back to you? Also, is there an interview? I read through the recent threads (this year and last year) and no one has ever mentioned an interview, but the automated email that was send back to me after submitting the supplemental application said “you may be invited to an interview based on your program” I’m assuming maybe the Dpt program doesn’t do interviews but maybe another program does?
 
I submitted my supplemental application to the Manhattan program three days ago. I haven't seen anything about an interview on the website and PTCAS says Touro DPT program does not interview. Hopefully we hear back soon since there isn't as much application traffic this time of year!

I was just accepted to the bayshore campus ! Would anyone be interested in starting a Facebook group

Hi all, my name is Sierra I am going to be a 3rd year in the DPT program at Touro in Bay Shore. Not sure how many of you are from out of state. But, I am currently looking for a roommate starting in July. So if anyone is looking for housing for this upcoming year, please feel free to message me!
