They sent me a letter stating that the application cycle is now closed.

i received a letter from Touro...probably a reject letter...but i still don't get if they reject me academically (GPA, pharm experience, test score, etc.) or it's really because the interview slots have been filled and the interview process is closed???

and one more thing, they wrote something like this, "...has filled all interview slots and has chosen to close the interview process for the Class of 2010." huhmm, 2010??? i applied for 2006 though... 😕 ..."The PharmCAS application cycle for the Class of 2011 will open on June 1, 2006 and you may apply..." again...i applied for 2006 and will try again for 2007, but they told me to apply for 2011???

"Class of" means the year that you graduate. So students entering a 4 year program in 2006 are in the class of 2010. So if you didn't get in this year, next year you'll be applying for 2011 (or 2010 for a 3-year school).

I guess try to apply earlier next year. A month or two late can make a big difference. I think they were overwhelmed with applications this year after Nov/Dec.

no that was not, that was scary. We are talking about someone who is applying to pharmacy school to become a pharmacist. Being part of a profession that utilizes intellectual and logistical aptitude to solve problems more intricate than "what does class of 2011 mean?"
