This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hi, I'm actually not an OT, but I was just accepted to be an incoming DPT18. The mandatory orientation for the DPT program starts June 30th, and I was wondering if anyone was looking for a last minute roommate? Thanks!

Hey kenchow,

Message me your contact info and I can post your info on our FB page.

Hi! My interview was on March 5th and I received my acceptance on the 10th. I interviewed at Touro last year and was wait listed. So happy to have gotten accepted this time 🙂

I had my interview Nov. 6th 2014 and that was the first interview session for the 2015 cohort and I was waitlisted. They said all final decisions go out by Monday the 15th of June. I don't think Im getting in 🙁

Hello futuredoctorpt,

I remember they asked questioned based on the expertise of the instructors. One instructor has a background in ethics and philosophy so she asked those questions such as if someone in your cohort asked to see your paper to get ideas of how it was to be done, but you noticed they plagiarized your work, what would you do?

Another professor asked why I wanted to be an OT, and why I would be a good fit for Touro. I can not remember the other instructors questions. I did not end up attending Touro as I was waitlisted and then was not accepted. I did email the Director Yvonne, to see where I might improve for future endeavors, and she responded back that most who were waitlisted were due to GPA were lower than others. Mine cummulatively was a 3.27. However, she did strongly encourage me to apply again, which I did but was accepted into another program in Irvine, CA that started in Sept. I have heard those who were waitlisted before, and applied the following year typically get in. Good luck!!!
