I'm taking the TPR online practice tests, and have been doing terribly compared to AAMC.

I only get in the low / mid 20's on TPR, but usually get 33's on AAMC exams.
I'm not sure what's going on! 🙁

Today I was taking a TPR online exam: MCAT Review Online Test 2 and it was so hard that I couldn't even finish the PS section.

I don' know what this means, and I'm finding it really disturbing that I do so terribly on TPR exams to the point where I can't even go through a section.

Has anyone else experienced this with TPR online practice exams? Also any input from the TPR brand ambassador would also be appreciated.

well, i don't have a large sample size to draw conclusions from, but TPR tests are supposedly all slightly harder than the real deal. i scored a 20, 21, and a 24 on my first three TPR exams. then, i took AAMC 9 and scored a 31. your AAMC scores will be much more reflective of what you'll score on the actual, and they are more reflective of what the exam will actually be like. don't stress too much about TPR (at least i'm trying not to). i also read on here that most people experience large jumps in their TPR scores around the 4th or 5th diag.

Thanks for the suggestion S6MD.

I've taken practice tests 1-9 as well as the number 1 of the MCAT review series TPR added recently to their practice test bank.

I did see an improvement in tests 4-5, but also dropped in scores abysmally after that improvement, to the point of my practice test 1-2 level, despite heavy studying. I'm not really sure what's going on and I'm really worried if it is a reflection that I am not studying the right way.

I kinda got the opposite impression of some of you guys. But i think it might be because I went through a lot of the content (Basically a once over all physics and gchem, half of bio, very little ochem) before trying practice tests 1,2, &3. So far I got a 30, 33, 32 respectively (again this is after going through half of the TPR course and some extra content review on the side). Do you think you might have found these tests difficult because you hadn't gone over enough of the content? Dont get me wrong, VR was definitely tough. But I am not too sure how representative the science sections are in terms of difficulty.
