Here are some things that might help:
1) Look up the meanings of the words you don't understand when reviewing so that you know what they mean next time (applies to all passages pretty much)
2) This passage has to do with logic, this might be an area of weakness, so instead of ignoring it/hoping it doesn't show up on the real test, try and read articles about logic and reasoning to get used to this type of material (the Economist and NY Times has good passage types)
3) If you need to, with passages like these, go back and refer to the passage when answering questions instead of trying to take in all of the material when reading it first since attempting to do this can be overwhelming when the material is so unfamiliar
