Hi RubyJoe,
I've gotten a number of emails from Tufts Cummings about their online setup (DIFFERENT from Embark, the application itself). If you haven't heard from them, I'd call the admissions office ASAP to make sure they have your contact info. Basically, they sent out an email saying
"We will be uploading your application to our Professional Schools Application Management System this week. After this upload is complete, you will automatically receive an email from us. This email will include a website link and a user name and password. You will be able to log onto to this site and check to see whether or not your credentials (transcripts, letters of evaluation, and GRE scores) have been received in our office. It will also state that you should wait at least 10 days before checking this site, so our staff has time to update credentials for all applicants. In fact, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to update the credentials for all of our applicants."
You then get an email with a link to
https://grad.admissions.tufts.edu/APP/login.aspx and a username/password.
Finally, we got an email a couple of days ago saying
"We are writing to give you an update on our progress with processing your application for admission. As you know, we received a total of just over 750 applications to the DVM program. As of today, we are just about done with matching letters of evaluation, transcripts and GRE scores with these applications.
We have just begun updating credentials on the online application management system. Please understand what a huge undertaking this is! It will take 2-3 weeks for our four staff members to completely update credentials for each of our 750 applicants.
...
So, if our web page still shows that you are missing all credentials, please be patient. This simply means that we have not yet updated your credentials. This website for status checking is our way to communicate to all 750 of our applicants in a timely and efficient manner about the status of your application. We expect that you will use this site to ensure that your application is complete."
