For the second time in about a month, a runner collapsed and later died during a marathon. In this most recent case, the runner was a trained professional athlete running in the us olympics trials. In the first case, the runner was a weekend warrior known to have mitral stenosis.

What's going on? Is this latest incident because of IHCC? Is just makes me sad.

Any thoughts? Should echos be a part of normal routine healthcare (I know I know, the costs. But excluding that factor for the moment)
