How long do you think I should wait before I call AMCAS and make sure that they have received my transcript? I had it mailed about a week ago. Do you think that is enough time for them to have received it and put it in my file. I don't want to call and waste my time and money if it hasn't gotten there yet, or if they haven't had the time to "process" it.

i would say give it at least 3 weeks. it would be a miracle if it got into a file (hopefully, the right one) by then. gluck.
