but do I need to send separate transcripts to each school I apply to, in addition to the AMCAS verified grades?

Nope, just one set of transcripts from each institution you attended are required by AMCAS. I guess all the medical schools trust the AMCAS and don't bother doing a second verification.

Future is right 95% of the time. A few schools (I think Madison was one of them) explicitly require their own set of transcripts with the secondary. For those, you'll obviously follow the instructions, no matter how convoluted they may be.

Kinda makes you psyched that anti-trust laws are at work in other sectors of society, right?
