Transcripts for MDS

Hi,i have done my MDS from India, but am unable to get transcripts for the course from my university. University says there are no transcripts for MDS course. i want to know if anybody has got transcripts for MDS from any university in India.Also if I dont send the MDS transcripts to ECE, would my Post Graduate degree not be counted in the ECE evaluation?I have the MDS degree certificate with me.Please help.

Hi rex,
i also had the same situation. For MDS just send in your final marksheets that is enough . even my un iversity did not give me any transcripts saying that there is no set format. SO i just sent the final marksheet to ECE . I am not sure if its counted or not if u dont send to them , but just sending yor marksheets should be enough.

Thanks a lot for youe reply.Did you get your Gpa? Which college did you pass from?I passed from Gdc Trivandrum, and i dont have any marksheets also. It is just pass or fail. I have my degree certificate, i guess i would send that and keep my fingers crossed.

Hey, i have completed my PG in OS in india, i got my ece done with my mark sheets, but for college application we require transcripts right, i have my BDS transcripts but not MDS, my university has no clue of it, kindly lemme knw if its okie if i get notarized copies of the same or do i require MDS transcripts (is it a must) to apply, n do u have any soft copy if u did get that from india, thanks

Did my MDS in Ortho, and have got my transcripts from the Univ, which just mentions the content of the papers i appeared for, and that no marks are given for MDS, wonder if it will work..

Hi,
I have done my MDS in Pedodontics from India. Have to get my ece evaluation. There are no marksheets issued after the MDS exam... only Pass/ Fail.
All i have is a provisional degree certificate.
Will my MDS be evaluated or not. Please advise!

I don't know since when universities in India had stopped issuing mark sheets. I have completed my MDS in OS from Kolkata in 2007 and I do have mark sheet for my exam. Once you send it to ECE they break it up according to the US credit system. They recognized the degree as an equivalent to MS degree in US and they clearly state that in their transcript. hope this helps

i am currently in my final year of residency in india...but one of my seniors asked our dean to prepare a transcript for MDS from college itself and sir made it for her...i think you can also ask your college principal to do that for you...i just got my bds degree and transcript evaluated and applying on that basis..though i have mentioned in my Caapid app that i am pursuing MDS in Pediatic dentistry...i think that would also do because my application was accepted in all the universities i applied...i could send you a copy of the transcript prepared by sir...let me know if you need it...

you can get a transcript with all the subjects split into three years .but there are no marks its just passed or failed !!!!!!!!
