Transfer (CR) credits on ADEA application?

Hi,

I took Orgo I and II over the summer after my first year of university so I didn't have to deal with taking it during my second year. I took both at another school and received transfer credits. Now I see for a lot of schools they don't like transfer credits.

Do I need to request and pay for the official transcript from the school to be sent to ADEA/AADSAS or should I just manually input the grade I received since I actually know the numerical grade I got in both of those courses?

In other words, instead of putting CR and CR that appear on my transcript from my home institution, can I put the X and Y grades I received in those courses based on what the other institution gave me (they operate on the same grading scale) or should I just leave the CR and CR? Been trying to get AADSAS on the phone to ask but as everyone here knows, they're never available. Thanks.

You need the letter grade for each of these courses and you need the transcript from the college they were taken at.

It wouldn't be fair for someone to get C's in pre-reqs and try to brush it under the rug in terms of calculating their GPA... for this reason every letter grade received during college must be reported by all applicants.

So..how am I supposed to get the other school to send a matching form to AADSAS? I'm trying to arrange for a transcript to be sent from there but the way they have it set up is that once you pay they send out the transcript in a sealed envelope. The matching form won't be included this way, which I assume is a problem unless my home institution has already filled out a matching form for me? Another problem I realized is the other school registered me under my middle name, not my first name like my home institution, which obviously will complicate things more -.-. Just my luck. Thanks for your reply.

Not sending a matching form will delay the process, try to call the school and see if you can email it to someone to put in the envelope before it gets mailed out. I sent my transcripts without a matching form, and everything arrived just fine. But since ADEA is super backed up now, you would have to expect delays

I can still submit my app though with the letter grades from that school and just arrange for the transcript to be sent so AADSAS can verify them correct? I don't want to wait 4-6 extra weeks just to hit e-submit when everything else is ready to go on my application. Thanks.
 
Yes you should definitely e submit. They won't verify your grades unless you do Esubmit

My university sends transcripts the same way. You order online, pay $6, then they mail it for you. However, there was an option for me to upload a PDF for anything I wanted to have included, so I filled out the form and attached it to my order. Maybe your school can do something similar.
