Would transferring schools to say South Carolina, Alabama, Missipi or any other state that has cheap tuition be worth it or no? Say I have 1 year left of school and I have the ability to transfer?

if you know for a fact you can get into that school, sure. Also you can use this trick to save some money on your 1st year

it's not as complicated as it seems, pretty standard and easy to do actually if you're willing to put a little time into it.

most of these school specifically require you live there for 12 months? Establish a domicile yada yada

Yes, basically you have to have all the legal residence paperwork (driver's license, rent/lease/mortgage paperwork, tax refunds, etc.) in most places.

Alabama, Mississippi and South Carolina require you to have lived in the area for 1 year prior to admission or enrollment (varies). Also, moving there to take classes isn't what they like to see. Their admission stats are higher than most other schools though.

TN requires you to live there for a year or to pay taxes in TN basically.

Transferring to a school in those areas would work pretty well if you change everything over I guess. You'd pay out of state for the time you're in undergrad and they might take you as an in state student for dental school.

But don't move to MS, it's a pretty hard school to get into.

Nevada is only 6 months I believe.
Some Utah and Arizona residents moved here to apply for UNLV dental school. That's a very smart move because it's so easy to get in to UNLV if you are a resident here. This year instate 165 applied and 45+ will be accepted, while out of state 1700 applied and only 30 will be enrolling.
