Transferring Schools. How do I list similar ECs at different locations?

I'm thinking of transferring schools after my freshman year, but the thought of giving up all my involvement at my current schools holds me back. Assuming I get involved with the same activities at my future school, can I "group" similar activities together which I did at both schools? For example, can I list the research that I currently do in the same space as the research I will start at my future school? I'd have to do the same thing for clinical volunteering, work (CNA), and a few other activities.

(Inb4 I'm a gunner for wondering how my AMCAS will look after transferring schools.)

A gunner wouldn't transfer schools because of the tiny bit of bias that might exist against transfer students.

Anyway, you'll have to list all the experiences twice. While they may be similar, you pretty much list your experiences by location on AMCAS.

That's actually devastating.

Think I could get away with listing the most recent contact info, location, and organization name, but including the dates for both the locations combined? Of course, I would have to say "from fall 2012-spring 2013, I volunteered at X doing the same work as at Y."

You can do whatever you want. It's up to you to be honest.

Yes, you may group activities on your application. You can see an example of how to group similar activities in this thread http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=896983 in the FAQ in post 2 (example listed under #4)

As it says in the example, I wouldn't list the whole date span because your contact info will only be valid for one date span. Instead, mention the additional date spans in the description as mentioned
