A quick question for any current Maryland students out there....On the UMB website it says they do accept transfer students in good academic standing etc etc PENDING availability in the class. Anyone out there in Maryland's class of 2011 that can tell me if there are actually any open spots in your class (for someone transferring this summer to join into the 3rd year)?

My school has a similar policy, but would never accept transfers into our particular class because we already have more that 10 extra people in our class. Is it similar at Maryland?

Thanks!

there was one opening from our first year, (at least one anyway) but it got filled in by someone a year ahead of us. There could be another spot but I'm not sure. Just call the admins...

i agree with apaul. better off just calling/emailing admissions.

i think we had 1 kid get held back, but 2 people joined our class that didn't successfully complete D2. plus, there is another 2010 student that will be joining our class next year because she's taking this year off for personal/health reasons.

so basically, we have netted 2+ people from our original 130. however, this may change after this year..... people may have to repeat? who knows.

good luck,
-hup!
