Transient Student GPA

Hi,

I just completed a summer course at another four year university (closer to my house for summer classes). My home university says the gpa doesn't affect my gpa at my home school. How is the transient GPA included for AMCAS?

As if the grade counted at your school. Don't forget to send in all transcripts from everywhere you attended.

They're saying that they only count the credits, but not the GPA. If I send in the transcript, does that cover the GPA portion for the AMCAS?

Yes, all classes are counted for the AMCAS GPA. It doesn't matter if they are from multiple schools.
