Hey for the people who have submitted your application and is has been processed. On the inital screen it lists all the programs you are applying to and then has a column labeled transmission date. Do you know exactly what the transmission date means? THanks

When the schools actually have access I think, or maybe it means when the schools downloads the application from AMCAS. The official date for transmission according to AMCAS is July 14th or 15th. It is up on the AMCAS webpage...

I emailed AAMC about this. Here is their reply:

Dear Applicant,

The transmission date indicates the most recent date that a medical school has downloaded information from AMCAS.

Transmission dates prior to your application processed date indicates the medical schools have downloaded preliminary applicant information ( contact information only ) . Transmit dates after your application processed dated indicates the medical school has downloaded your complete, verified application.

Additionally, these dates may change throughout the processing of your application, depending on how many times the medical school downloads information regarding your application.

So up to this point no applications have been sent out yet? Will all of the ones that have been proccessed be sent out at the same time, or will they be sent out in the order they were received?
