Travel Advice/Multiple Interviews

I'm not a well traveled person. Can anyone give me advice to help me get the best deals on my upcoming flights. I have three interviews scheduled and it's time to tear open the wallet and fork over the cash for some tickets. Also, does anyone have experience with setting up multiple interviews in the same are of the country at the same time. Example, Kansas City and Kirksville in the same week?
