Hey, do you guys think its ok to send just 3 letters to the MSTP if the letters overlap as far as content is concerned? (1 letter describes my research potential, 1 letter describes my research potential, my clinical potential and my people skills, and the last letter describes my intellectual capacity for medicine and my people skills.)

What do you mean JUST 3? Isn't that all they require? Do you have more but you just don't want to send them? If so, why?

If you only have 3 letters then you'll be just fine. If you have more, why aren't you sending them? I sent all 5 of mine.

yea, I only have three letters. I think I'm just confused on the instructions attached to the email they sent. It says they want 2 from science professors to comment on your potential as a clinician and 2 from professors to comment on research potential. I guess overlap is implied then. Thanks, j.
