So I'm a runner, and occasionally I get hurt. I got a book on trigger point therapy and have used it to some effect. Massaging certain areas seems to help my injuries. I've heard that some doctors consider this to be nonsense, naturalistic healing.
What's the common wisdom here? Will I look like an idiot if I ask about them in my physiology class?
