Answer to your question--Yes.
Keep in mind that DNA transcribed repeatedly into RNA molecule(mRNA) in the nucleus. Some of final product of RNA molecules are tRNA and rRNA. The reference is from Campbell Reece 5th Ed. Biology.

So you are saying in the nucleolus or in the nucleus? Easy to misread because they look the same.

No. t-RNA is made in nucleus, but not in nucleOlus. nucleolus is a site (there could be more than one nucleolus in a nucleus) where r-RNA is made. It's true that DNA is transcribed repeatedly into RNA, and all RNAs are made in nucleus. But nucleolus is a special site for r-RNA.

oh~, what you saying is that DNA is located in somewhere nucleus but not in nucleolus? I thought the transcription take place at the site where DNA reside. rRNA is assembled and made in nucleolus in nucleus. 🙂 RNA molecules made in nucleolus because DNA transcription take place where DNA is located.

tRNA takes use of alot of post-transcriptional modification, which requires it to remain in the nucleus for this to be done obviously. to my understanding, the nucleolus is primarily a rRNA site, not tRNA.

you confused me a little. Nobody said DNA is not located in nucleolus!

Yea~. nobody said that. I was simply trying to make a point by saying that;but it did not work, 🙄. what I understand, all RNA molecules are made in nucleolus and rRNA stay there because rRNA need to be assemble; however, tRNA do not need to b/c it assemble it self.

Not to brag, but I haven't even taken Principles of Bio I yet and I know the answer to this question. Hopefully the rest of the Bio DAT section (and the DAT itself) is this easy. 😀

hey great~!! would you share the answer? I would like to know whether I learned correctly. If not, this is time to correct and re-learn before my DAT. Please~!🙂
