True vs Pseudo Gunners

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
When was the last time you felt the warm touch of a <insert gender you're attracted to>?

Besides, pseudo does not mean "not a ...." It means it's pretending to be something.

I don't know, why don't you ask your sister.
Pseudo means false as in it resembles, but it's not really like pseudostratified and pseudounipolar. I said in the first post, there's no point reading ahead if you don't know the meaning of pseudo.

come on man, give it up.

Everyone make sure to read both versions of the original post. The original is quoted on the first page, the current "post #1" was edited to change every usage of "true" to "pseudo". OP, you went back and changed your entire post to the OPPOSITE of what you were originally arguing, and now you're trying to play it off.. just stop.. and hope this thread falls off the first page and into the archives as soon as possible.

Edit: This thread has become a place to discuss about English connotations than the actual topic. The point of the thread if you don't wish to read all the crap above is that there's a difference between a hard worker and a gunner - simple as that. In order to make sense of this post, I've "switched" the words true and pseudo. I apologize for the ranting and I don't expect you to read all of it.

There was really no point in reading the first post at all, which is why I didn't.

just the fact that this term is in the vocabulary of med school and the pre-med route reeks of tainted history filled with cut-throat competition.

I wonder if there is such a thing as gunners in grad-school.

That's y I'm not a true gunner.

Exactly, it's in urban dictionary, which I already talked about above, so I'm not going to repeat myself.
