I have 2 topics I want to throw out there. I am a graduating senior with a 2.6 GPA, and 3.1 sGPA and a 20 on my DAT which I am taking over again at the end of August...what are my chances as far as getting into dental school Aug of 2010??
...and I downloaded all the requirements for the DAT achiever, its just that I had to choose to either eat grilled cheese for another 2 weeks, or buy the liberation key. Needless to say, I ate a steak for dinner tonight. If anybody thinks that the DAT is good tool, and you happen to have an "extra" liberation key please email me at [email protected] ....or you can just leave your feedback and i may purchase it when another payday comes back around. ill keep you updated!! thanks

This is a premed forum. You might find that you'd get more responses if you post in the predental forum. Good Luck.

I think the better approach may be to do a Masters rather than retake your DAT. For one, your GPA is the hindrance, not your DAT. What are your individual scores on the DAT? A 20 is above average and I'm not sure you would want to retake, unless you are confident you can definitely do better. The reason I say do a Masters is because your overall GPA is low, but your science GPA is not horribly low. Nevertheless, a 2.6 GPA is what needs to be corrected.

Good luck trying to find an extra liberation key. Just purchase one from the website. Regarding your GPA, I'd say you need to shine on your DAT in order to have a chance. You're chances will be slim if you end up with another AA of 20.
