trying to get to the US on F1 visa ....need some advice

Hi i 'm from bangalore and am planning to come to the US and taking my NBDE.I'm trying to get here on a F1 Visa. Some people suggested that i apply for MPH.
Can u please tell me about some other degrees i could apply for that are related to dentistry.
What other programs can i look at if i dont get admissions into IDP.

Hi Pratika,
Frankly speaking, I consider it a waste of money if you don't intend to complete MPH. I applied for a Canadian visa [a lot easier to get compared to US visa] and took my part 1 in Canada. Once I had an interview letter from a college, I applied to the US counsulate for a tourist visa. My visa officer saw my interview call and noticed that I came back from Canada in 2 weeks time even though I had a 6 months visa. He promptly gave me a 10 yr multiple entry visa even though I had mentioned that I would be staying there only for a week!
