Trying to Understand Price of TAMUK..

I've never actually thought to check the price of one of the schools I'm applying to (didn't matter to me much in the past)..but now I'm a bit confused. Forgive me if I sound naive but:

There are 2 different prices with different titles. As far as I know, TAMUK only has one pharmacy program; am I wrong? What is the difference here?

P-1, 2, 3 (9 MOS)

OK. Looking at it again...I'm assuming it means the first 3 years of pharmacy school...and about 36 grand for the last year.

While the COP is located on the TAMUK campus, it's not technically the TAMUK COP. It's an extension of the Texas A&M Health Science Center.

As far as your questions... No. The 4th year doesn't cost 36 grand.

Okay, I found what the OP was looking at. He's not discussing tuition, he's discussing a projected "cost of attendance" that is completely variable. Tuition and fees are pretty much the only constants here, the rest is up to the student, so I've never given these any credence. According to my CC, my coa was close to 5 figures, but I was only paying $1200 in tuition a semester, and that's all I cared about.

The 14 grand for room and board is probably because you'll be doing rotations in different cities, so you might not be able to crash at your usual domicile. Do you understand the price of A&M's COP now? 😉

Over 5k for "Misc"? Yikes! Almost 2k for books and supplies? I call shenanigans. 4k for transportation, I guess they are including the cost of a car payment in that? I couldn't hit those numbers if I tried. Way over inflated, unless I am missing something.

Yeah, and I've seen other schools with similar "estimates," which is why I completely ignore them. Look at your tuition and work up from there.
