My attending asked me: what is the relationship between angulation and displacement when using TSFs. My initally thought was 1:1--> you lengthen the bone by 1cm, you decrease angulation by 1 degree. He said that this is true for some cases, but not in others.

Can anyone explain, or point me towards a good resource? I have tried googling, checking rockwoods, browners and cant find any info.
