TTE resources for a beginner

A CA 2 resident looking to acquire a strong foundation for critical care TTE. I have watched some videos on a few websites and try and practice them every now and then in the ICU. But it would be helpful to know what ICU fellows and faculty recommend as books/ resources at this point.

The best TTE book is Otto. A bit hard in the beginning, but worth every penny. It's probably an overkill for a CA-2 though.

For your purposes, the best might be the Washington Manual which can be had for $50 delivered on Amazon.

The Jae K Oh book is a good one and an easy read. I always found all 3 of the otto textbooks really dense.

There is a reasonable pocket washington manual book but I didn't find it that easy to read but it is a good reference in a pinch.

The Echoincontext website is also pretty good.
