hi ivan and anyone else who might interview at tufts,
first of all, dont worry. its pretty cool. heres how the day goes:
first they take u on a tour of the school, then they present the curriculum, then lunch and then interview and then ur done! it takes about half the day ie. upto about 130pm or so. everything is very friendly and informal. and since u get the feel of the school, by the time the interview time comes up, u are pretty relaxed.
usually we interview with one person. the questions asked are not subject related although they will ask u about the curriculum and how much u did in dental school. they also ask the usual questions pertaining to ur resume and stuff u might have achieved. and some questions to see if u are empathetic, mature and can take the pressure etc. u might have to narrate some incidents to corroborate what u are saying. nothing difficult. u can answer most things easily. everyone is really nice so u wont really feel too scared.
thats about it. anyway they are taking about 16 people this year. they told us they would let us know what happens in 2weeks or so. will let u guys know what happens.......please pray for me!!!!
all the best to all of u. [and please pray for me too.

ivan, about the democratic convention, u might want to avoid the freeways that will remain mostly closed except for one or two lanes. it must be there on their website or somewhere on the news. i know that I-93 is closed except for 2 lanes which means there will be a lot of congestion. and anyway boston traffic is crazy, and the school is in downtown, so u might want to take the T or drive in real early. try this website for more info:

good luck
