Hi,
So the paperwork for the Tufts website says that the applicaton requires a personal statement and a "why my experience makes me good to be a vet" essay. When I just checked online, though, they have all kinds of other interesting questions (take a stand on a controversial issue listed below, what would you do for a year off, no animals, money not an object). Is this right, or am I missing something here? I very much like their applications questions!

Is anyone else having trouble with the web interface? The fill-in spaces have very limited characters. They have no room for quarters in the required classes (ie, 2 spots for physics, not three). Ahh!

email admissions with your questions. they are AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME and will get back you right away (well, tues, probably, since mon is a holiday) but seriously they are super nice and more than happy to answer your questions and help you out.

i'm also applying to tufts...and yeah, i didn't see anywhere about submitting a personal statement...i'm actually working on the other questions now, which i like....much better than the usual questions. let me know what you find out. maybe we would put the personal statement in that section about "please put anything here that isn't already mentioned in your application".....dunno

I'm also applying now and I think their questions are great too!
About the characters - I agree that there is limited space and I am confused about the "course number" column (I don't know if it's the class number assigned by my college or something else), but anyway when you first login there is a question about the program you wish to apply to and if your school works on the quarter system (it doesn't always pop up, but it might change the format of the classes section). I'm sure you can always call them, I've spoken to them so many times and they are the best ever! 🙂

The course number is what appears on your transcript ie Biol 107, they don't want the numbers only version that you would use to register for the class. I hope that makes sense.
