oh man, I didnt get it yet . I was waitlisted last cycle 🙁
what does your status under supplemental materials say? mine still says not received for app fee and DAT scores. Can anyone please check?

Mine just says Received/Under Review still. They told me they were awaiting my app fee for a long time I remember... like a month after I sent it, but eventually that went away.

Awww man I haven't received anything yet 🙁 Was really hoping for Tufts too.

Does anyone know if they sent out all their invites today in bulk or will trickle them throughout the rest of the month?
 
I don't have 3 science LORs. I called the admissions office and asked this before I applied. I was told that it would be required eventually but you can apply without the 3rd one as long as it's acquired before graduation.
 
I didn't have three science letters and they didn't inform me of any additional needs.
 
i don't think we need 3 science letters... their website says:

Two letters of recommendation (one from a Biology professor and one from a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Math or Physics professor) or a pre-professional composite committee letter;
A letter from a dentist providing proof of at least 30 hours shadowing experience

Yes, dentist's letter was a must!
 
Does anyone here have an interview even though they have Community College credits/pre-req's done at a college?

Tufts harassed me again for my application fee but there isn't a point in sending it if they refuse to give me credit for my CC work.
 
My dentist wrote me a letter or rec, but it doesnt include the amount of hours I shadowed.....am I fine or do i need to have send an additional one stating the amount of hours I shadowed?

wouldn't you have listed your hours in your application under dental experience?
 
I got one and I am going the 17th since I have BU the 18th. Kill two birds with one stone. Anyone else going that day???

I KNOW 😀

I called them about it.
Letter must state you did at least 30 hrs of shadowing.
 
I would call the admissions office just to be sure. They are very nice, they will give you the best answer.

i dont have CC dredits but i did get an invite with some credits from less than a stellar school...

i also have a dentist letter, but i have no clue if it stated i shadowed for 30 hours, i put down 30 hours on aadsas, bc that's about what i've done...so i guess if i get an interview we'll know how strict this rule is
 
My dentist let me read the letter he wrote before he mailed it off and he never specified hours. He said that I spent numerous hours with him and another dentist. I also don't have a biology rec letter. And I submitted my AADSAS like Aug 20.... and after that I got an invite today. So I think everyones in pretty fair standing for getting interview invites. I wouldn't worry about letters or hours yet.
 
yeah i am also hoping for an interview at tufts, but i guess htey're still waiting for my dats. I asked my dentist to state the approximate amount of hours I have been there which was a little over 40. However, I don't think it will prevent you from getting an interview if your dentist didn't state the number of hours. If they'd really want to know they can always contact him and ask.

I was wondering the same thing. Does anybody know the answer to this question?
 
i guess we'll see in a next week if they'll send more invites. Did your status change on AADSAS after you received your interview invite?

I hope you didn't sign a paper saying that you waived your right to access the letter. If you did, I would be interested in your take on some of the ethical interview questions.
 
I still have "Received/Under review," as well as 60 hours from a CC and 2 science LOR's and 1 dentist LOR.

The Supp. Materials still says they need my application fee and DAT scores, but I have seen that they cashed my check. So I guess they're just slow goin' on AADSAS updates.

Did you guys receive interview invites via e-mail?? I'm assuming so, just making sure.

I sent the secondary fee last month, and i still haven't gotten any notification about them receiving the 60 dollar fee. did you guys receive any email/letter saying that your application is completed????
i tried to call the office but the automated massage said they can't tell me the status by the phone so i just didn't even try...
 
I got one too yesterday. I don't think I can go because I'm already heading up there at another date for nyu and harvard, don't want to go back again

Where is it that we can check if the supp. materials are complete? On AADSAS? Mine only says "No Supplemental Materials are required AT THIS TIME by your designated Dental schools." And they did cash my check back in July!

just tuesday night, flying out wednesday at 5. hope they dont give me the last interview spot b/c logan is a haul from medford!

and if anyone else is flying out of logan right after the interviews, i am down to split a cabbie.

isn't the dental school downtown at the edge of chinatown not up with the rest of tufts in medford?

i'm pretty sure...

Thats false. Medford is about 10 minutes from the dental school without traffic. Straight shot down 93 and into the tunnel.

indeed. davis (main campus) down to NEMC (dental) takes awhile.
btw, silver line from NEMC goes out to logan, if you're interested👍

do they send an email to ask for the check? My adsas changd to under review but nothing about a check yet? will they not extend an invite without the check?

Yes, they did as soon as I submitted my AADSAS. Check your spam folder, you should def. have received it long time ago... (BTW, it is for $60😀)
