hey. i just did an away elective at tufts and can share my experiences if you would like. tufts was very different from my home school, so that in itself was overwhelming at first. however, over the month i spent there, i really developed a liking for the program. the faculty were very nice and approachable. the residents were from many different regions of the country, so it seems like they give all applicants a fair shot regardless of home locale (a bonus for me). starting in their first year, the residents rotate through the various subspecialties in ophtho...i think doing two-three months at a time. they do a three-month rotation at a new mexico va during their third year, but otherwise it is all in boston or close community hospital. hope this helps.

haven't heard from them yet...but fingers crossed.🙂

Hasn't been much on this thread in a while. Anyone have good info on Tufts?

I'd like to know about this program as well. I can't find their fellowship match on the website. Any information about where the residents have gone?

They are very strong in retina and their graduates match into good retina fellowships. They also have their own retina fellowship and it is among the best in the country.
