I can't decide which one to accept. I also got into USC and NYU but at this point I have narrowed it down to Tufts and Michigan. Please give your opinion. Thanks!

One thing about Michigan is that if you start as an out of stater, you can not get in-state tuition ever. So it ends up being about 170,000 or so--which is similar to Tufts.

Yeah that is one reason i am having trouble deciding. I like Boston better than Ann Arbor, but I got the feeling that Michigan is more focused on clinical than Tufts. On this site I heard the opposite so I don't really know.

i don't know anything about michigan, but i go to tufts and i can tell you that it is definitely more clinical than most schools, so if that's what you want (i did), then there is nothing wrong with tufts. i also dont come on here often anymore (since d-school is a rough life), so i PM me if you have more questions

I'll second that, NO school has a more clinical focus than Tufts.

Michigan is an excellent clinical school, but has a more well rounded focus, IMO, and would be my choice btwn the two.

Both are great schools, but I think Michigan is a superior school when all is said and done. It is expensive as an out of stater, but tuition is still cheaper than Tufts and Ann Arbor is a much cheaper place to live than Boston. Now if you are totally in with love Boston, have family or friends there, etc etc, maybe Tufts is the better school for you.

Tufts probably has a stronger clinical focus than UM simply due to the demographics. BUT how can you make the blanket statement that "NO school has a more clinical focus than Tufts"? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure its very strong, but there are a few schools out there that could give Tufts a run for the money (ex. UDM).
