Anyone here use Turbo Tax?

If so, I have a rapid fire question series:

Is it good for people who know absolutely nothing about taxes like myself?

Do you have to buy a new version each year?

Does it include your state and city income taxes?

I've used both Turbo Tax and Tax Cut. I prefer Tax Cut.

I've only used the products for my personal income taxes and I've never had a problem (even when I forgot some deductions and had to file an ammended return)...

Do you have to buy a new version each year?

As often as congress tinkers with the tax code, it is essential that you have the latest version with all the new laws, etc. Yes, it is updated every year.

Does it include your state and city income taxes?

The state income taxes are additional (usually). None of the cities I've ever worked in have had an income tax, so I can't answer that one...
