Turnaround time on secondaries

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You pre-write them so as to turn it in ASAP. Preferably the same day, no more than a week.

Pre-writing is definitely an SDN thing. Don't freak out about it. Two weeks is a reasonable turn around time. A month is probably too long.

Also, I've been wondering. Do schools ever think it's weird when people turn in essays within an hour or so? Are they neutral or like "yay pre-writing" or like "Did this person even read the prompt?" Most likely they don't even notice, but I feel like a turn around that fast could raise some eyebrows.

Two weeks is definitely the time frame I have heard from various advisors.

+1. I have long wondered about this as well.

so, what's the verdict? Google keeps advising within 2 days, but that's so daunting

I'm aiming for 1 week at the max. (the ones I haven't prewritten). But most of them I'm turning around within a day or two.
