Hey guys,
Here's the deal! I received an interview at UW but moments later, I was accepted to UMD! I just turned down UW and hopefully I did not make a terrible decision...
I am currently a Maryland resident (I believe) but I was denied MD residency for some reason. I have lived here for 2 years after schooling and also had a full time job, paid taxes, all my belongings are here, etc. The only thing is that I recently received my MD license because I didn't have the right paper work at the many times I went to go get it done (they keep telling me to bring different things every time). Do you think that this can be held against me? It just doesn't make any sense if everything else is right, except that fact. Do you know how strict they are about the residency? I heard different things.
I also have an interview at USC and Tufts. I scheduled my interview for Tufts but not for USC yet... What should I do, guys? I really am a "newb" at these kinds of things and I heard so many different things and read so many different opinions.. I know the best thing to do is go and see for myself but I don't have much time off from my job nor the money... How do you guys compare these schools to UMD which is currently my first choice (but I would like to say only because I have not visited the other schools)...
I've only posted one thing here but you guys were so so so helpful! (Reminder: that was when I was asking advice if I had to retake my DAT. and I did take it and did pretty well. I thank you guys!)
