what's the deal?? i had a qbank answer tell me the other day that there is HYPOthyroidism associated with turner's, and just now i had an answer that said thyroid hormone is not ususally decreased. clarification, please?

thyroid irregularities are associated with turners, but it isn't associated enough to be considered to be "usual", which implies that it is common and expected.

an analogy would be that DES is associated with clear cell adenocarcinoma, but clear cell adenocarcinoma isn't usually found in daughters of women who used DES. (since less than 1% of their progeny get it)
