Hey guys.

I am planning to turn in my primary application on aug. 15(for several reasons) and I was wondering if it's late. I am also thinking about sending my transcript a month before so that everything will be ready by aug. 15.

thanks.

I turned mine in around that time and felt the effects of being a late applicant.

I submitted mine on Oct. 15th and also felt the effects of being late, though I received interviews and acceptances. August is still pretty bad - it's a great idea though about having everything in and ready to go. Just do everything you can to get it in as early as possible. Every day that goes by is opportunity slipping away.

My AMCAS application is finally completed, but I have a couple of related questions and I was hoping for some advice.

1. My June 15 MCAT scores are not released yet (expected July 18) and I have no idea how I did, it was really hard I thought. Should I submit now anyway and at least get the ball rolling? (The AMCAS "Test" section said something about that medical schools prefer if you wait until you receive and review your scores.)

2. I'm not sure how to narrow down the schools to which I am applying since my practice tests were all over the map and I have no idea how I did on June 15. If I go ahead and certify and submit now, is it hard to "add" schools later, and re-submit, etc., etc.?

each passing day exponentially hurts your chances (unless you're a 4.0 45 MCAT from HABARD)

Get that sucker in NOW!!!🙂
