Does my tutoring and TA work, that I received credit for, contribute to or factor into my AMCAS sci gpa?

Yes I did.

Then yes*, but... does that mean you paid money to TA/Tutor (i.e., work)?! Most schools pay their TAs and tutors not give credit...

*Depending upon subject matter and how it's listed on the transcript. "BIOL 4999 TA, Intro to Biology" would be iffy, I think. "BIOL 4990 Special Topics in Biology" or "BIOL 4991 Special Projects in Biology" would likely get the credit.

Here is a list of BCMP (sGPA classes):

.There are a lot of questions on SDN about BCPM. Below is all the information you will need to distinguish BCPM from non-BCPM. The list is from AMCAS 2009 manual. You can find the full manual for MD schools here: AMCAS 2009. ..The requirements for DO schools are listed as well...

Sounds like your school has figured out the perfect business model -- get people to PAY THEM to work for them! Sorry, dude. It will help somewhat but I kinda think your school is probably making off with more from this than the TAs are....
