Favorite Medical TV Show & Character

I'll go first!

Scrubs - Lavern the Nurse.

Dr. Cox: Uhh, ladies, This is that beverage I have been trying to described to you. It turns out, and this is going to sound weird but, the secret is, you grind it from beans...not crap.

Laverne: I'll grind yo beans.

Check that, Kutner on House.

I just love me some Kepner.
Let's be real though. 13...

House, seasons 1-4 only (original team >>>>>> new teams). For the drama and characters, not the medicine.

I loathe most other medical shows. Scrubs is okay tho.

I always had a thing for Cameron from House.

Jack Shephard from Lost is top tier for me, even though Lost is far from a medical show

Quite obvious what my choice is I think

Scrubs is a good second though. I never really got into any other ones.

I think the worst one I ever saw was Monday Mornings

Scrubs is the only medically related show I got into...not a fan of dramas, but I love comedies when it comes to TV shows.

Favorite character...tough...guess Dr.Cox, they're all awesome characters though.

Adding one from a non-medical TV show:

Dr. Shivakamini Somakandarkrom from The League

And it begins.

Edit - Bah! She edited it. I should've quoted it.

It was a typical anastomoses comment. There was the comment about Cameron's white coat, but then she went on to talk about how she had a custom one just like it tailored to her and how she gets compliments and questions about it all the time.

My favorite medical show is the documentary titled "Keeping Up with the Kardashians"

One time, she had eczema, another time one of the sisters had plastic surgery. Oh and there was this one time that a baby was born! Really fascinating stuff, I learn a lot.

My favorite doctor is Chloe.

Oh, haha, wasn't sure if it was directed at me or not. Thanks.

get lost, clinger-on.

Dr. Hiram Baker from Little House on the Prairie. Please, tell me someone knows who I am talking about.

That horse and buggy doctor was above MRIs and CTs, he could diagnose anything with one touch, and the treatment was always the same. Morphine. Of course, he was reimbursed with chickens and apples.

But seriously, Grey's Anatomy is for amateurs. I mean, Shepherd and Grey, get your **** together. That glossy-eyed, wet-nosed child and her "pick me, love me, choose me." I've seen better dialogue in inner-city graffiti. And the lack of Indian physicians. Have you been to a medical school recently?

We should not look to fiction for realism. The lack of Indians is one of many unrealistic aspects of this show. Multiple shootings/plane crashes/bombs in people's chest? People hate on Grey's for a lot of valid reasons, but I still think its worth seeing

I can agree to that. The most out of place accident, I thought, was Christina getting impaled by an icicle. (Ok, I watched the first few seasons, then stopped)

People do actually get hurt from icicles! The homemade bazooka shell getting fired into someone's body and then a bomb squad guy getting blown up however, that stuff happens all the time in real life amirite?
